Scale of pay:
# Navik: Basic pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3)
# Yantrik: Basic pay Rs. 29200/- (Pay Level-5)
Eligibility Criteria of Indian Coast Guard Navik Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 22. Candidates applying for the positions of Navik (DB), Navik (GD), and Yantrik must have been born between 01 May 2002 and 30 April 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable only if posts are reserved for them.
Educational Qualification:
Navik (Domestic Branch): Class 10th passed from a Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) recognised education board.
Navik (General Duty): 10+2 with Math and Physics from a Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) recognised education board.
Yantrik: A Class 10th pass from a Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) recognised education board and a Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of three or four years duration approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
OR
Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 02 or 03 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) from an education board recognised by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Examination Fee:
# UR/OBC: Rs. 300/-
# SC/ST: Nil
# Mode of Payment: Net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ Maestro/ Rupay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI
